Pasticceria

Pasticceria is located in the famous Cosetta's in the heart of Saint Paul. I have never been there before, so that was a great eating experience. I compare it to Cafe Latte (which is equally delicious, but not as adhered to italian food).

Back to the macarons, Pasticceria is a very clean, fancy bakery. I was first a little scared of the prices (the boxes of macarons said 30.00/lb, yikes!) I ended up getting a box of six (that is how many different kinds they had). It came to be around eight dollars (I learned that it was 30.00/lb and it cost more to have them put in a fancy box with ribbon, I didn't need to feel all that fancy— nor do I have that kind of money).

There was a lemon, pistachio, chocolate, vanilla, wine, and a vanilla with a fruit middle (raspberry or strawberry)

I ate the lemon one first, I haven't had a lemon one before, it was amazing!

The others were equally as delicious, I was skeptical about the wine one, but that one was my favorite out of all of them, it had a unique flavor for a dessert and I could tell it was wine without being overbearing.

To be completely fair, it was a little pricey, but I think it was worth it, because they were good. I would definitely say that this bakery cares a lot about precision and quality.

I give them 4 out of 5 macarons.
